Here's the photo of the finished product and then I'll show you step by step how I made it with photos. ;)
Here's my current collection, i lost my favourite Jessie J one and as you can see, some of them are slightly blurry but I'm not too sure why yet.
Triple thick gaze by Deco art
Clear Nail varnish
Double sided sticky tape (preferably a little thicker than usual)
Step 1- Print off images that are about 2.5cm in diameter. The best way to do this is go on zazzle.com, search the image you want, copy and paste it in to word, crop it right to the edges and then right click on the image and type in 2.5 in the box and it should be just about the right size.
Then draw round a bottle cap with a pencil and cut out. If you want to you can use a rubber to rub out any pencil marks. Quite often the image is slightly to big so you may have to cut small amounts off around the edge.
Step 2- Cover the image in clear nail varnish to prevent it from bleeding, you will either want a thick coat or 2 coats because some of mine still bled.
Note- I have read some other peoples tutorials and one said to use a candle to melt of the seal but I couldn't do it so instead I got thick double sided and stuck it in the middle so that it was raised like the outer rim.
Step 3- Anyway peel the double sided tape and then stick down the image that has been previously painted with nail varnish.
Note- When filling the bottle cap, squirt the first drop of triple thick onto a something for the bin as it often has a big bubble in it.
Step 4- Squirt the Triple Thick Glaze on to the picture, don't fill it quite to the top though! Then leave to dry in a warm place, if you want you can put a cup over it as it will stop any dust sticking to it but you don't necessarily have to.
Also use a paper-clip to pop any bubbles before you leave it to dry.
And the finished product...
